Meet The Doc Brown Fam

Doc Brown Farm & Distillers isn’t a typical bourbon brand. Based in Senoia, Georgia, this women-led, family-owned business draws on two centuries of farming tradition. However, the women behind the brand are thoroughly modern, farmers, entrepreneurs, and visionaries breaking the mold in a male-dominated field. They don’t oversee from afar; they work the fields, till the soil, nurture crops, and harvest rare heirloom grains themselves. Their blend of deep agricultural knowledge and creative ambition distinguishes Doc Brown from other brands.

Doc Brown’s award-winning bourbon stands apart for one reason: the grain. They grow rare, heirloom varieties, like the nearly extinct Jimmy Red Corn, prized for its deep flavor, entirely on their own farm, organically and intentionally. Their bees also contribute, pollinating the crops and providing honey for their small-batch syrups and cocktail ingredients. Nothing is outsourced or left to chance. Every step, from seed choice to barrel aging, is carefully considered. The result is a bourbon that truly tells the story of its land—nuanced, layered, and repeatedly recognized for its exceptional craft. From seed to sip, every detail is deliberate and evident in the taste.

With regular limited releases and small-batch bourbon, Doc Brown always has something exciting and delicious to offer.

Amy Brown

the “Brown” in Doc Brown — comes from a large family with a rich farming heritage. She built a successful career as a mortgage investment banker while raising two sons before trading in her suits and heels for jeans and boots. Amy now manages the farm full-time and serves as the official Doc Brown storyteller and published author. The Doc Brown farm is a cherished family legacy passed down to Amy, and she is proudly keeping that tradition alive.

Paige Dockweiler

the “Doc” in Doc Brown — was born into a farming family in South Georgia, where her father managed large farms growing soybeans, watermelons, cotton, and corn. Growing up surrounded by the rhythms of rural life, she developed a deep appreciation for hard work, community, and the land. After earning her nursing degree from the University of Georgia, she pursued a successful career specializing in oncology and hematology, dedicating herself to caring for patients through some of life’s most challenging moments. Paige never strayed far from her roots; she can often be found on the tractor plowing the fields, balancing the books in the farm office, and serving as the steady, dependable force behind the brand.

Daniel Williams

Amy’s oldest son and has always had a deep love for the farming way of life. As a teenager, he worked tirelessly on the family farm to pay for flying lessons and eventually became a successful international commercial pilot for UPS. As much as he enjoys flying, it is the grounded sense of purpose he feels when he’s out in the fields that keeps him rooted in the land.

Equally important to Daniel is passing on this knowledge to his sons, instilling in them the same work ethic, respect for the land, and pride in the family legacy that was passed down to him.

Olivia Williams

Mother of two and a tireless advocate for the Doc Brown brand, and the heart behind everything you see in our store. As our Merchandise Matriarch, Olivia brings passion, personality, and an eye for detail to every item she curates. Olivia leads the brand’s merchandising from the ground up, ensuring that our Life Happens Bourbon Helps™ shop is stocked with thoughtfully selected goods, apparel, and one-of-a-kind items that truly reflect our spirit — in every sense of the word. She takes pride in making sure every order reaches you quickly, safely, and with a little bit of that Doc Brown magic.
